I had my Audi A4 Quattro 3.0TDI recently remapped by Ben at Shark Performance. I’d just like to say what a difference it has made to the car. It drives superbly both at high speed and low. Acceleration is phenomenal and there’s little to touch it at the traffic light grand prix – silly but we’ve all done it! This car’s torque was already brilliant but now it is awesome. It goes up steep hills as if they were flat, even when fully loaded. I was very impressed with the care taken at the remap of ensuring all was well with the engine first and of the road tests before and after the remap.
I must also say that Ben is a really helpful and friendly guy who knows what he’s doing and understands the benefits of remapping without giving out the nonsense that is occasionally quoted by some remapping services. I picked him because he specialises in VAG vehicles and because of his honesty. Some of the other remapping people make ridiculous claims and downright false statements – such as remaps cannot be detected and you don’t really need to inform your insurance company – see how true that is if you have a major accident! And indeed, the insurance increase (if any) is not massive and well worth it for the brilliant difference a remap makes. I am exceptionally pleased with this remap and highly recommend it. Thanks Ben, I now have a smile on my face every time I drive off in my car.
